Service of process
If the company is sued, the papers are delivered to the registered agent. We receive them and pass them on to you. Missing those papers can let a case move without your response, so this address has to be watched.
Business Services
A Wyoming company must name a registered agent with an address in Wyoming that can accept official delivery. Wyoming Digital LLC receives service of process and state mail, and the first year is included when you form with the $99 package.
If the company is sued, the papers are delivered to the registered agent. We receive them and pass them on to you. Missing those papers can let a case move without your response, so this address has to be watched.
Wyoming also sends filing notices and annual-report reminders to the agent address. We receive that mail and get it to you. The agent does not replace your duty to read a deadline once you have the notice.
The address on the public articles can be the agent address instead of your house. That is a public-record choice. It does not hide ownership from a bank, the IRS, or a court that requires names.
Wyoming requires every limited liability company and corporation to keep a registered agent in the state. The agent is the official recipient for service of process and for mail from the Wyoming Secretary of State. The role is narrow and important. We accept the delivery, record it, and forward it to the person you name. We do not appear in court for you, and we do not decide how you should answer a lawsuit. If you are served, read the papers promptly and speak with a lawyer about the response. The time to answer is set by the court, not by us.
The agent address is a street address in Wyoming, not your kitchen table. You can use it as the registered office on the articles. Customers will not get a staffed front desk, and this service is not a private office you can sit in. If you also want ordinary business mail handled at a business address, ask about the virtual office and mail forwarding. The agent service itself is the legal mailbox for process and state mail.
When you form with Wyoming Digital LLC, the published package is $99 plus the state filing fee, and Wyoming registered agent service is included for the first year. You also get the state filing and an operating agreement or bylaws template, depending on the entity. After the first year, the agent continues only if you renew it. Ask us before the year ends and we will tell you the renewal amount before you agree. We do not publish a second price beside the $99 formation package.
If you already have a Wyoming company and want to change the agent to us, say so. We can prepare the change of agent for filing with the Secretary of State. State fees for that change, if any, are set by Wyoming and are separate. You should keep your contact email and mailing address current with us. If we cannot reach you, official papers can sit while a deadline runs. We are a filing and agent service, not a law firm.
Wyoming allows an individual or a company with a Wyoming street address to serve, if that person is actually available during business hours. Many owners name a commercial agent so the public filing shows that address instead of a home, and so someone is there when the state or a process server delivers papers. If you travel or live outside Wyoming, naming yourself is often a poor fit.
No. The agent receives service of process and state mail at a Wyoming address. A virtual office is a business address for the company and a place ordinary mail can arrive. Many clients use both so one public address covers the filing and the day-to-day mail. Neither one is a staffed private office.
